Important Announcement: Price Adjustment after 5 Years

After five years in business, in February 2024 we’re increasing our prices for the first time, ever.
Our community (that’s you!) is so important to us, so we wanted to take the time to explain what’s changing and why, before it happens.
From February 1st 2024, you may observe a slight change in the pricing of our sugarcane straws. We want to assure you that this adjustment does not affect the size, formulation, ingredients, or quality of your straws.
The reason behind this change is the significant increase in the cost of running our business over the past few years. Various factors, including freight (including sea freight), raw ingredient prices, labour costs, and interest rates, have experienced notable increases.
Since our inception, we have remained committed to transparency, equity, and sustainability. While we have never implemented a price increase for our straws before, we have reached a point where a slight adjustment is unavoidable to ensure the continued production of your favourite straws.
We sincerely appreciate your unwavering support over the last five years. Your championing of our mission enables us to work with incredible scientists and manufacturing partners who help bring our visions to life whilst prioritising worker welfare and environmental protection.
Our commitment to raising the bar in terms of the innovative packaging we bring into the market and our sustainable practices remains steadfast. We aim to contribute more to the planet and its people than we ever take away.
